In just 3½ months, using my own approach, I lost the same 20 pounds it once took me two years to lose — and then regain.


Not by pushing harder.

My journey didn’t just shape how I eat — it shaped how I think, research, and build systems that actually work.


I’m a wife of 44 years, a mom of two adult sons, and a Grammy to my grandchildren — roles that keep me grounded and deeply aware of how much health, energy, and longevity matter in everyday life.


Professionally, my work has always centered on research, structure, and clear communication. I’m a certified coach with a background that blends analytical thinking and human-centered support.


Over the years, I studied nutrition, inflammation, behavior change, and long-term health — both formally and independently. Yet despite all that learning, I never found a single approach that brought everything together in a way that was simple, complete, and sustainable.


So eventually, I created my own.


Because lasting change doesn’t come from restriction or perfection — it comes from clarity, structure, and compassion.


This isn’t just about weight loss.


It’s about building a way of living that supports your energy, confidence, and well-being for the long term.

📖 My Journey

🌸 Where It All Began

Here’s how it unfolded — not all at once, but season by season.


As a child and teen, I never struggled with weight. My first noticeable gain appeared during a stressful period in my late teens — and disappeared once life steadied. For a time, things felt normal.


But adulthood layered on new challenges.


Stress increased.
Routines shifted.
Hormones changed.
Thyroid issues emerged.
Responsibilities multiplied.


Over time, the weight accumulated — not dramatically, but gradually.


Ten pounds here.
Ten pounds there.
Until one day, I was 85 pounds overweight.


I tried solution after solution. Sometimes the weight came off — but always at a cost. My metabolism slowed. My thyroid struggled. And unless I stayed hyper-focused, the weight returned.

For decades, I lived the familiar pattern: lose weight, regain it, start over — each time more discouraged than the last.


Most approaches required constant monitoring. Logging. Measuring. Avoiding normal life. And when life became demanding — as it always does — the system fell apart.


What finally broke the cycle wasn’t effort or discipline.


It was realizing the structure itself was the problem.


I had cycled through nearly every major diet philosophy available. Some worked briefly. Most weren’t livable. None taught me how to support my body or create calm and stability around food — long term.

In 2022–2023, I joined Noom. I logged every bite, avoided restaurants, and pushed through. I did lose 20 pounds.


Then my husband became seriously ill.

  

Caring for him added a new layer of responsibility — alongside the demands of running my business and everyday life. 


And I realized something that stopped me cold:


I wasn’t strong enough to keep living this way.


Not because I was weak —
but because the system demanded more than real life allows.


When the scale confirmed I had regained the same 20 pounds it took me two years to lose, the truth was unmistakable:


Another diet wasn’t going to save me.
I needed a different system entirely.
